Our 12-week Editing and Post-Production Course will give you the low-down on non-linear editing
software and familiarise you with the theory of editing and how it has the power to sculpt a narrative and move an audience.

Documentary Production

On our Documentary Production Short Course you will research, write and produce your own 12-minute documentary, which will premiere at the Lavuth' iBhayi Short Film Festival!

Short Film Production

This three-month training course teaches you all aspects of filmmaking – from concept and
script through to shooting and editing a short film. You will get hands-on experience working
with a small team, filming local actors with a script devised by your group.

This course covers:

  • core cinematic storytelling skills

  • brainstorming and pitching story ideas

  • writing for the screen

  • the language of camera, lighting and sound

  • work-shopping and blocking actors

  • crew roles on set

  • editing with Adobe Premier software

Screenwriting Skills Programme

The objective of the Screenwriting Skills Programme is to train 20 learners - who have at
least a one-year qualification in film and television production or a related qualification or
equivalent industry experience – towards the writing of a 12 to 24-minute screenplay,
ready to go into production.
